In today’s technology-driven world, it’s easy to forget that at the center of all of our recruitment and retention efforts, whether in business or in community, are humans. The choices we make about where to work and where to live are rarely entirely mathematical or analytical decisions; humans are emotional. To attract humans, we must behave like humans. In this keynote message, we’ll explore the power of personal invitation and the science of mattering to help attract the talented humans we all need in our communities to grow our current companies, start new businesses, do cool community projects, and enhance visitorship.
