DESCRIPTION:Chamber members are invited to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony and dedication of the Center for Business at Baker College of Flint.\n\nThe official remarks begin at 11:15 a.m.\, with tours and refreshments to follow.\n\nThere will be live Internet feeds connecting the classrooms with business professionals throughout the state and other demonstrations. The Center’s design and technology support the educational focus of evaluating versus calculating data and providing ways students can build relationships with businesses so they will be more valuable to employers and able to hit the ground running at their first jobs.\n\nThe Center has furniture that is mobile and is easily reconfigurable\, all rooms have multiple interactive whiteboards\, and iPads are standard issue for students.\n\nSeveral areas are available for use by local businesses.\n\nPlease RSVP to Robert Mohr at Robert.Mohr@baker.edu or 810.766.4143 by March 18\, 2014.
