The mandatory C3PAO third-party assessment requirement for CMMC Level 2 is currently paused\, not canceled\, following the Department of War's July 13\, 2026 announcement. This session will provide an update on recent changes and discuss practical steps contractors can take while the program remains on hold.\n\n \n\nA C3PAO is a Certified Third-Party Assessor Organization authorized by The Cyber AB to conduct official Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) assessments for Department of War (DoW) contractors.
