SUMMARY:Genesee ISD Groundbreaking Ceremony for Expansion of Early Childhood Special Education Building
DESCRIPTION:The Genesee Intermediate School District will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation and expansion of the Early Childhood Programs & Services building. ECPS supports all local school districts in Genesee County by providing special education programs and services to children from 3-8 years of age.   \n\n\n\nThis expansion project will include twelve new classrooms\, therapy rooms\, an additional parking area\, and bus and parent drop off loops with overhead canopies protecting the students from the weather. Once the addition is complete\, the project will also involve renovating the existing building by transitioning current office spaces into more classrooms. A new library\, music room and nursing office will also be added. \n\n\n\nThe outdoor playground space will receive new equipment\, fencing\, surfacing and expanded play areas for students of all ages. The exterior of the current building will also receive a facelift of new metal panels\, masonry work\, paint\, lighting and landscaping.\n\n\n\nPlease join us as we celebrate with a groundbreaking ceremony for this exciting new\, innovative space for the students.
