DESCRIPTION:Grand Blanc Downtown Development Authority will host a new food truck festival beginning in May. The First Fridays Food Truck Festival will open May 5 with a Cinco de Mayo theme and continue throughout the summer. The first event\, on May 5\, will have El Ballet Folklorico Estudiantil dancers and mariachi band. There is no charge for admission\, and this event will include entertainment\, children's activities bounce house\, food trucks and outdoor seating. It will take place in the parking lot of Grand Blanc High School\, 12500 Holly Road. Vehicles will only be allowed to enter from Holly Road.\n\n\n\nThe Food Truck Festival is brought to you by the City of Grand Blanc and Grand Blanc City DDA. The Food Truck Festival is also brought to you by Genisys Credit Union and The View Newspapers as Co-Presenting Sponsors\, which is the highest level of sponsorship for the festival. The Food Truck Festival is also sponsored by Serra Benefits Group.\n\n\n\nThere will be a Carry On Festival in the Grand Blanc Downtown Area and throughout the City at the restaurants after the Food Truck Festival. The restaurants will be hosting special Food Truck Festival deals.
