As the seventh president of Mott Community\n\nCollege in Flint\, she is the first female and first African-American\n\npresident in the school's history. Dr. Beverly\, as she prefers\n\nto be called\, is committed to academic excellence\, student\n\naccess and success\, dynamic industry partnerships and significantly\n\nimpacting local economies. Prior to joining the MCC family\, she served as Senior Vice President for Student Services at Montgomery College in Rockville\, Maryland.
