DESCRIPTION:The business community is invited to advance their advertising knowledge through a Lunch & Learn series sponsored by the American Advertising Federation of Greater Flint and the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce.\n\nSession 3: Advertising Layout & Design\n\nA strong design is key to a successful advertisement. But what makes it strong? Are you hitting on all the needed components? Is the design effective for the placement (billboard vs print vs digital\, etc.)? In this session\, we'll talk about and show case studies on what makes an effective ad\, and the importance of recognizing how the medium plays into your overall design and layout.\n\nFrankie Ferguson\, Creative Director for Outfront Media\, and Steffany Hillis\, Marketing Communications Specialist for Hurley Medical Center\, will offer you expert advice.\n\nThere is no charge to attend\, but reservations are required.  The presentation will be held in the Mott Foundation Dining Room on the first floor of the Mott Foundation Building.  Lunch will be provided.
