DESCRIPTION:This free morning seminar – offered by the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce and MLive Media Group – will focus on efficacious leadership.\nEfficacious leadership is an ethos that promotes a purposeful\, proactive culture empowering others to discover and develop their unique skills and talents to create their own future.  To create an encouraging and edifying culture as a leader\, it matters what we do\, how we do it\, why we do it\, and where we do it. It matters... because people matter\n\nBetsy Haigh from the Awaken Leadership Center will discuss how leaders create cultures to encourage and edify others to make positive change. As founder of Awaken Leadership Center\, Betsy Haigh guides educators\, leaders\, and executives to create positive change in their organizations. She provides mentoring and coaching to those in the private sector\, nonprofit organizations\, educational institutions\, and individuals of all ages to discover and develop their personal leadership abilities.\n\nBetsy will wrap her discussion in the story through "THE ADVENTURES OF POKINIAS THE GOOSE CONSULTING".  Pokinias was a goose who could not fly and felt alone in the world. But he did an astonishing thing and entered into a relationship\, with a retired scientist. Through his adventures we are given examples of how we as leaders can positively impact people’s lives.\n\nBetsy will leave you MOTIVATED and INSPIRED!\n\nJoin us to learn more \n\nAs part of the Mornings @ MLive Media Group series\, the event will also include a light breakfast\, time for networking as well as a question and answer session.
