DESCRIPTION:Join the Flint River Watershed Coalition and the Lapeer Chapter for a nice relaxing float through Lapeer. This paddle will last about 2 hours (portaging may be required). Meet at the Tilted Axis after for food and drinks. Pre-registration is required by August 21st by calling Jaime at (810) 767-7140 or email at jwelch@flintriver.org. Float/Paddle: Rotary Park in Lapeer\, Nepessing Street to Lyle Street and end at Saginaw Street Landing. Cost includes guides\, shuttling\, water and snacks\, sunscreen\, bug spray and insurance. Most trips are suitable for ages 10 and up. Limited space and kayak rentals available.
