DESCRIPTION:The 2nd annual VeggieFest Flint will offer an expanded line-up of exhibits\, concessions\, presentations\, cooking demos\, food tastings\, kids activities\, community building\, and live entertainment\, indoors at the beautiful market venue. Presenters will include well-known health advocates including Marc Ramirez of Chickpea & Bean. Dozens of healthy living product and service vendors will be available indoors and outside under the covered pavilion\, many with free samples\, giveaways\, show specials and door prizes. Some of the area's leading food trucks will be outside as well\, serving delicious vegan and vegetarian meals\, snacks and beverages. Concessions will also be available indoors\, along with a large dining area near the main stage showcasing popular plant-powered performers\, including emcee Cam Awesome\, national champion heavyweight boxer\, and national touring act\, Hip Hop is Green. Cooking demos and food tastings will be offered in the well-equipped demonstration kitchen by Cooking with Que and other acclaimed chefs. Advance tickets include parking\, admission to all programs\, door prize drawing entry\, and a goody bag with $5 in concessions vouchers\, exhibitor discount coupons\, and more.
