DESCRIPTION:Imagine people all over Genesee County for one day a year showing their community pride by simply wearing Bermuda shorts to work.\n\nIt's part of Bermudas on the Bricks\, a new event coming to downtown Flint - but we need your help to take it beyond the party to make it a community celebration.\n\nThe event itself is a 21-and-older block party right on the Saginaw Street bricks with dancing\, food at area restaurants\, 100 beers on tap and a few surprises from 4:30 p.m. to midnight\, Friday\, August 15.\n\nWear Your Bermudas to Work Day will spread the party throughout the community and throughout the day.\n\nWe need your help to make this successful. We hope you and your business will participate.\n\nSupport the community. Have fun.\nHOW TO PARTICIPATE\n\n	Encourage staff to wear not-so-short shorts to work on Friday\, August 15.\n	Email us at bermudasonthebricks@gmail.com so that we can promote your participation in The Flint Journal and other local media.\n	Take a photo of your Bermuda-clad staff and enter the Best Bermudas at Work contest. Email us the photo by 5:00 p.m. on August 15 to be featured on mlive.com. The winner gets a pizza party for up to 100.\n	Want to help even more? Bermudas on the Bricks needs sponsors.
