Bring your friends and family to the second film in our African American Film Series! Come and see the insightful film, "13th", directed by Ava DuVernay. The U.S. makes up 5 percent of the world's population, yet locks up 25 percent of the world's prisoners. Ava DuVernay's Oscar-nominated documentary – a "crucial and stirring document," according to Variety -- explores how we got here.(U.S., 2016) 100 min., rated TV-MA We will have live entertainment, food, film and a wonderful talkback panel discussion afterwards for a minimum donation of $2 per person.
