Artomotive ''Raise the Hood'' Competition

Body shop painters, traditional artists and the public are invited to participate in this summer's Artomotive competition in which contestants convert auto hoods into works of art. Hoods are supplied by the Artomotive Committee. Participants must be over 18 years of age and there is a $50 entry fee. Finished artwork must be delivered on or before July 7, 2015. Hoods will be judged for a cash prize - First, Second & Third and a Peoples' Choice Award. The public will be able to vote until 1:30 p.m. on August 15. All hoods will be auctioned at the Flint Farmers' Market during the Back to the Bricks Festival, August 15, with a silent auction beginning at 7 a.m. and a live auction of the winning entries at 2 p.m. For more information or to fill out an application visit www.artomotive.org.
