Join the Crim Fitness Foundation at Applewood for this playful Dream Play Build activity, which invites people of all ages to explore how ideas can become community change. Bring your curiosity (and the kids!) and work together to imagine, create, and test ways to make spaces welcoming and vibrant. Plan for at least 20 minutes to complete the activity with others. We’ll also explore the history of urban planning in Flint.
The enduring legacy of Charles Stewart and Ruth Mott is their extraordinary commitment to civic participation. From preserving our history to volunteering in community, the Civic Matters program explores ways that anyone can engage in civic life. This year’s topics are focused on historic preservation and getting involved in the community where you live.
Drop in to Civic Matters anytime from 1–4 p.m. on the third Friday of each month May through October. Admission and activities at Applewood are always free!
