"Flint" explores the critical question of how the ongoing water crisis could happen in an American city. This film intersperses interviews with area residents and experts in lead and water with testimony at congressional oversight committee hearings. With over 5,300 cities across the US in violation of federal lead rules, Flint serves as a warning for the rest of the country. This documentary educates and inspires action, seeking to radically change how we view and value water. Screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the filmmakers, residents and experts. Recommended for ages 12 and older. For more information and a schedule of upcoming events at The Capitol Theatre visit thewhiting.com.
