The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Michigan Economic Development and Mott Community College, invite you to learn about the Michigan Advanced Technician Training program.
MAT² is an innovative and industry-defined approach to education. Benchmarked on the German Dual Education System, MAT² is an educational model developed in conjunction with global technology leaders, and will combine theory, practice and work to train a globally competitive workforce. Companies participating in the MAT² program enjoy the benefits of being able to “grow their own” employees and ensure their own professional competency standards by being directly involved in the education/training process as well as establishing Michigan as an education innovator and global competitor.
Two sessions will be offered. Each session will give a general overview of the program followed by a more in-depth discussion of a specific field.
Session 1 (breakfast provided) ? 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
IT Technician
Session 2 (lunch provided) ? 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Mechantronics Technician and Design & Visualization Technician
