You are cordially invited to join us for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the Grand Opening of Flint River Watershed Coalition's new office, at the confluence of the Flint River and the Swartz Creek. The event is open to the public, and volunteers, supporters, and the community are all invited to attend.
There will be food, a short program at 6pm, with activities for kids & families - including an interactive River Bug program, kayak demo, water testing, bike maintenance demo, & a walk through the new State Park.
Partnering to protect, promote, and improve our watershed, the Flint River Watershed Coalition is a membership organization that promotes citizen stewardship of our natural resources by providing their members with the sources, knowledge, & capacity necessary to protect local water quality and watershed habitat.
