Sending giant rockets into space isn’t as complicated as most people think when they say it’s “rocket science.” Join us as we explore the fundamentals of rocket science using basic chemistry, such as states of matter and combustion, in connection with Sloan Museum’s Be The Astronaut exhibit. The nationally recognized UM-Flint Chemistry Club will present hands-on energetic activities to help us understand the chemistry required to launch a rocket into space.
