Scarecrow Fest - Kids Weekend

Celebrate fall in Frankenmuth during Scarecrow Fest, with a fun family-friendly festival at Frankenmuth River Place Shops and special scarecrow displays throughout downtown Frankenmuth! Taking place across two weekends in October, Scarecrow Fest includes both a Kids and Dog Weekend with special activities for everyone in the family. Dog Weekend includes performances by the Rock ‘N Roll K-9 team and a pet costume contest, and Kids Weekend includes free family entertainment and a cherry pie eating and cherry pit spit contests. Both weekends include activities like arts and crafts, pumpkin painting, pumpkin bowling, barrel train ride and the ever-popular pumpkin trebuchet, where you can launch your own pumpkin high up in the air before it come smashing down on a huge dump truck target. The Sunday of each weekend includes trick-or-treating throughout the complex, with Dog Weekend just for the pups and Kids Weekend for all the kiddos!
