Michigan Certification Assistance Program (MCAP)

The program is designed to reduce financial barriers, accelerate business readiness, and strengthen Michigan's defense and aerospace industrial base by increasing the number of qualified businesses capable of competing for federal and commercial contracts. This grant will provide direct financial assistance and project management support to businesses pursuing certifications such as Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance support AS9100, Joint Certification Program (JCP) registration, ISO 9001, and other industry-recognized certifications that support participation in defense and aerospace supply chains
