Today’s business owners are subject to laws and regulations that are constantly changing on local, state and federal levels. Owners in violation of these laws could face penalties including fines, lawsuits and even the loss of their businesses. This training series aims to help professionals understand which requirements apply to them and the potential consequences of noncompliance.

Hiring the right employee can prevent a myriad of problems and legal risks later. However, when firing an employee is unavoidable, it is important that the employer know which grounds are – and are not – permissible for discharge.
