Description
Join us for the Flint & Genesee Chamber's African American Advisory Committee July meeting, hosted by Elements Modern Kitchen and Cocktails! We're excited to feature an in-depth overview of setting up your own nonprofit organization. Expert and Founder of Legal Research One Reggie Davidson will share valuable guidance on when and why it makes sense to start a nonprofit organization, as well as what the steps are to set up your own nonprofit in a way that avoids or minimizes associated legal fees.
We're grateful and excited to be at Elements Modern Kitchen and Cocktails, the new restaurant of renowned chef and AAAC friend Nate Brown. If you haven't been, you'll be sure to fall in love with the menu and the setting, located in the Wyndam Gateway Hotel & Conference Center, off Hill Rd & US-23.
These monthly AAAC gatherings are a great way to connect with fellow entrepreneurs and business leaders to identify opportunities and address common challenges among Black-owned businesses. Bring your business cards and ideas!
The AAAC supports the growth and success of Black-owned businesses in Genesee County. Business owners, professionals, community partners, and supporters are welcome to participate in AAAC activities. The AAAC serves as the liaison between the region's growing African American business community and the Flint & Genesee Chamber. AAAC members partner with the Chamber to support the advancement and development of African American businesses.
Please join the AAAC the Fourth Friday of each month for informational and networking meetings. Locations vary from month-to-month to highlight different businesses and supporting partners in the area, and a virtual option will be offered when possible. Meeting agendas will focus on connecting people to needed resources, engaging with community leaders, and networking.
