The Flint & Genesee Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Mass Transportation Authority (MTA) are hosting a "Be a Tourist in Your Home Town" one-day event in the Greater Downtown Flint Area.
Purchase a Be a Tourist Passport for just $1.00, per person, and receive FREE admission to more than 15 Greater Downtown Flint Area attractions. Complimentary transportation is provided by co-sponsor MTA, in dedicated 'Be A Tourist' buses.
Also, several restaurants in the Greater Downtown Flint Area's entertainment district will be offering 10% off menu items (food and non-alcoholic beverages only). So, we invite you and your family and friends to come downtown and experience what Flint has to offer and See what's possible.
Participating Greater Downtown Flint Area attractions: Riverfront/Dorms, The Capitol, Whaley Historic House Museum, Flint Institute of Arts, The Whiting, Longway Planetarium, Sloan Museum and Buick Gallery, Flint Farmers' Market, Carriagetown Antiques, St. Paul's Church, First Presbyterian Church, St. Matthews Church, Greater Flint Arts Council, Applewood, U-of-M Flint Recreation Center and more.
Be sure to stop by registration, located at Riverfront Banquet Center (formerly the Hyatt), 1 Riverfront Ctr W, Flint, to pick-up your Passport(s) and map to all participating attractions. Participation is limited to the first 500 registrants.
To pay cash, please bring appropriate amount to registration on the day of the event.
