Center for Business at Baker College of Flint Ribbon Cutting

Chamber members are invited to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony and dedication of the Center for Business at Baker College of Flint. The official remarks begin at 11:15 a.m., with tours and refreshments to follow. There will be live Internet feeds connecting the classrooms with business professionals throughout the state and other demonstrations. The Center’s design and technology support the educational focus of evaluating versus calculating data and providing ways students can build relationships with businesses so they will be more valuable to employers and able to hit the ground running at their first jobs. The Center has furniture that is mobile and is easily reconfigurable, all rooms have multiple interactive whiteboards, and iPads are standard issue for students.
