Description
With over 34 historic structures, go back to a time when things were a whole lot simpler at this authentic Great Lakes town from the turn of the century. Ride the Huckleberry Railroad, take a scenic ride on the Genesee Belle, a replica of the paddlewheel riverboats that were popular during Mark Twain’s time, catch a show at the Colwell Opera House or learn a trade from one of the Village’s craftspeople. Please join the Village this weekend for some "Down on the Farm" fun and experience important 19th century farm tasks with the help of farm volunteers. Watch the precise work of sheep shearing and try your hand at a paper craft. Crossroads Village is open Wednesday - Sunday, May 23 - September 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except holidays unless otherwise mentioned. The Village is closed on Monday & Tuesday. For a detailed schedule of activities and upcoming weekend themes visit www.geneseecountyparks.org.
