Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad 6140 Bray Road Flint Michigan
Go back to a time when things were a whole lot simpler. Crossroads Village is an authentic Great Lakes town from the turn of the last century, with over 34 historic structures and a thriving community. Ride the Huckleberry Railroad, take a scenic ride on the Genesee Belle, a replica of the paddlewheel riverboats that were popular during Mark Twain’s time, catch a show at the Colwell Opera House or learn a trade from one of the Village’s craftspeople. On July 27 & 28, characters from our favorite 19th century stories come to life during "Literary" weekend. Meet old friends such as Alice, Ebenezer Scrooge and Captain Ahab as they step from the pages of classic books. For details and a schedule of upcoming themed weekends visit www.geneseecountyparks.org.
