Description
With over 34 historic structures, go back to a time when things were a whole lot simpler at this authentic Great Lakes town from the turn of the century. Ride the Huckleberry Railroad, take a scenic ride on the Genesee Belle, a replica of the paddlewheel riverboats that were popular during Mark Twain's time, catch a show at the Colwell Opera House or learn a trade from one of the Village's craftspeople. Come celebrate "Prairie Days" at the Village this weekend featuring Street Peddlers and traveling sideshows. Come see who rolled their wagons into town to captivate all with their 19th century attractions. Children can also mine for gold and exchange it at the Village's trading post. Crossroads Village is open Wednesday - Sunday, May 23 - September 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except holidays unless otherwise mentioned. The Village is closed on Monday & Tuesday. For a detailed schedule of activities and upcoming weekend themes visit www.geneseecountyparks.org.
