Hear from NSF, a Certified Third-Party Assessor Organization (C3PAO), on the latest developments surrounding Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements and what they mean for organizations in the Defense Industrial Base. The mandatory C3PAO third-party assessment requirement for CMMC Level 2 is currently paused, not canceled, following the Department of War's July 13, 2026 announcement. This session will provide an update on recent changes and discuss practical steps contractors can take while the program remains on hold.

A C3PAO is a Certified Third-Party Assessor Organization authorized by The Cyber AB to conduct official Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) assessments for Department of War (DoW) contractors. Attendees will gain insight into assessment readiness, compliance expectations, and how to prepare for future certification requirements as the CMMC program continues to evolve.
