Join us for the first 2026 Community Meeting of the Disability Works Committee! If you are an employer who hires or is thinking of hiring people with disabilities, you'll come away with great resources to help you and your employees. The Disability Works Committee is a multi-organizational collaborative focused on making it easier for employers to hire and retain people with disabilities, and helping people with disabilities find meaningful employment.
At this meeting, you'll hear experts from Peckham Industries and the GISD's Transition Center dispel myths about disabilities, and learn more about what qualifies as a disability. You'll also have the chance to talk with other employers, sharing challenges and best practices.
This event is free and open to all employers and community partners throughout Flint & Genesee. Lunch will be provided. Registration is limited to 50 attendees, so secure your spot today!
