''Flint'' Free City 2014

Description

Free City 2014 returns to Flint's Chevy Commons for its 2nd annual public event. This two-day festival of art, design and technology opens up the former industrial site for emergent uses in architecture, art, design, new media and civic engagement. The festival highlights the use of novel social and material practices to re-purpose vacant and underutilized spaces. Free City locations for this year are - Chevy Commons (Stevenson Street between University Avenue and Kearsley Street), Spring Grove (2nd Street and Ann Arbor Street), Spencer’s Art House (520 University Avenue) and Stone Street Residency (605 Stone Street). For more information visit www.freecityflint.org.
