Business owners and community leaders are invited to a Small Business Assistance Forum.
Meet and hear from a large cross section of Flint area services that support and assist small businesses.
Find out the results of a Flint small business survey regarding thoughts on area small business challenges and opportunities.
This forum is designed to give you an opportunity to hear from and talk individually with representatives from organizations who are ready and available to provide business development assistance in the City of Flint. Organizations represented include:
- Flint and Genesee Chamber of Commerce
- Small Business Administration
- Small Business Development Center
- Vet Biz
- Procurement Technical Assistance Center
- Michigan Economic Development Corporation
- Metro Community Development
- UofM-Flint
- Mott Community College
- FabLab Mott Community College
- Inventors Council
Attendees will obtain information on state/federal programs and initiatives for business and community development related to small business assistance, lending and entrepreneurial training, government contracting, workforce development, community assistance, manufacturing and more. In addition, assistance related to the water issues for small businesses will be discussed.
