We’re so excited to partner with the Arab American National Museum on their 20th Arab Film Festival! Happening May 7-11, 2025, AFF invites adventurous film lovers and Arabic-language film fans to experience the latest subtitled features, documentaries and shorts by established and emerging Arab World and Arab American filmmakers.
The AAHC will be partnering with Comma Bookstore & Social Hub for our May 8th film screening of Khartoum.
This screening is FREE and open to the public.
Film Summary: Forced to leave Sudan for East Africa following the outbreak of war, five citizens of Khartoum
— a civil servant, a tea lady, a resistance committee volunteer, and two young bottle collectors - reenact their stories of survival and freedom through dreams, revolution, and civil war.
