Ribbon Cutting - Flint Institute of M...
Description
Join us for a ribbon cutting celebrating the re-opening of the FIM Bower Theatre!
The Bower Theatre, which has been closed since 2022 due to flooding, has been renovated and reimagined and will be activated on November 27 when Rent, the first production staged in the new space, opens. The ribbon cutting is a celebration of the new multi-purpose space, which can now accommodate a new scope of performance and imagination. The event will feature a short reception with light refreshments, remarks from FIM staff, and opportunities to engage the press. In addition to media, board, community, and Flint Rep patrons will be invited to attend. The general public is welcome.
The Bower Theatre is located in the William S. and Claire M. White Center on the Cultural Center Campus, which also houses the Elgood Theatre, and is attached to the Longway Planetarium.
