Description
Celebrate fall in Michigan’s Little Bavaria during Scarecrow Fest, with a fun family-friendly festival at Frankenmuth River Place Shops and special scarecrow displays throughout downtown Frankenmuth!
Taking place across two weekends in October, Scarecrow Fest includes special fall-themed activities for everyone in the family.
Saturday and Sunday, both weekends from noon – 6 pm, try your hand at the pumpkin launcher and see how far you can launch a pumpkin! Other fun fall-themed activities include pumpkin bowling, arts and crafts, pumpkin painting, inflatables, and riding Grandpa Tiny’s Barrel Train! Some activities have a small fee; there is no entry fee for the Scarecrow Fest event.
October 18-19 is set up to be a BLAST!
On Sunday, October 19, the pet costume contest is at 4:30 pm on the Fest Platz Stage. Following the costume contest, there is a doggie pet trick-or-treating throughout the complex from 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm. Rock N Roll K9s will be present throughout the weekend, performing some tail-waggin’ shows!
A Kids Trick or Treating will be held on Sunday, October 26 throughout the complex from 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm starting at the Fest Platz – kids will be able to trick-or-treat from each store.
