RESPONSIBILITIES

Match Coordination:

  • Facilitate the matching process between mentors and mentees, considering interests, backgrounds, and program goals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of potential mentors and mentees.

Support and Supervision:

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to mentor-mentee pairs, addressing any challenges or concerns.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and progress evaluations with both mentors and mentees.

Training and Development:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for new mentors and provide ongoing training opportunities.
  • Organize workshops and events to enhance the mentoring experience.

Case Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all mentor-mentee interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with program policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of mentoring relationships.

Community Outreach:

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Promote the mentoring program within the community to recruit new mentors and mentees.

Evaluation and Improvement:

  • Conduct regular evaluations of the mentoring program’s effectiveness.
  • Use feedback to continuously improve program quality and impact.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
