Transport Driver

Seeking compassionate, respectful, and responsible individuals to assist with transferring decedents from the place of death into the care of the many funeral homes and medical examiner's offices we serve. 

This is a challenging yet significant job. It requires being on call and is physically and sometimes emotionally demanding. However, it is some of the noblest work, allowing us to make a real difference in the lives of grieving families. 

Ideal candidates possess a passion for helping others, compassion, empathy, and excellent communication skills. A professional appearance and demeanor and a clean driving record are necessary.  

Responsibilities include responding to locations of death (hospitals, nursing homes, residences, scenes, etc.), Interacting with families, first responders, and medical professionals, respectfully transferring decedents (training provided), completing an inventory of personal belongings, following strict chain of custody policies, and driving a company vehicle. 

This role is well suited for current or retired first responders, firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, active or former military, medical professionals, and former funeral professionals.
