Cybersecurity Bootcamp: Tentative Webinar with Dept. of War CIO Office
Dana C. Mason serves as Operations Lead in the CMMC Program Management Office within the Office of the DoD CIO. In this position, Mrs. Mason uses her leadership and technical expertise to provide oversight of CMMC Program assessments, ecosystem operations, infrastructure, training, and the CMMC model. She also participates in studies, working groups, and exercises that generate recommendations to improve the cybersecurity posture of the defense industrial base. Prior to joining the DoD CIO, Mrs. Mason was one of the founding members of the Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Assessment Center in the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), where she served as a Lead Assessor and Curriculum Development and Training Team Chief. She has also held DCMA positions in the Cybersecurity Directorate as the Audit Preparedness Program Manager and Cybersecurity Policy Analyst. Mrs. Mason is a U.S. Air Force veteran and holds a Master of Science degree in Information Resource Management and Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Information System and Management Information Systems. She maintains Certified Governance, Risk and Compliance (CGRC), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), GIAC Certified Project Manager (GCPM), and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) certifications and has earned numerous awards for her accomplishments throughout her career.
